Junior Golf
Junior Specific Training
Junior golfers need to be trained according to where they are in their physical growth cycle. Taking a long term athletic development approach is the best route to the junior’s success and enjoyment of the game. Golf is a very complex set of motions that need to be coordinated to produce desired outcomes. Sometimes we are better off learning motions that seem not to be related to golf first.
Athletic Skills
Golf becomes a sport more easily learned after a junior has gained other basic athletic skills. It also helps to keep them interested and motivated.
Proper Clubfitting
Nothing ruins a junior golfers motivation and motor patterns faster than the wrong equipment. Ensuring proper weight and length goes a long way. Always better to “grow out” of than “grow into” equipment.
